Practicality Comes Standard in 2017 Versa

The 2017 Nissan Versa combines comfort, technology, performance and safety features into a practical vehicle that looks good on the road and is perfect for zipping around town or heading out on a weekend adventure.

Under the Hood

Nissan engineers equipped the 2017 Versa with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque.

Two transmission choices are offered to buyers of the 2017 Nissan Versa – a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed Xtronic automatic transmission with a gear range broader than many seven-speed automatic transmissions on the market.

Comfort and Convenience

Plenty of technology is at the driver’s fingertips in the 2017 Nissan Versa. Drivers sit in a four- or six-way adjustable seat, while front passengers have the comfort of a four-way adjustable seat. An available 60/40 split folding rear seat allows for a variety of passenger seating and cargo carrying options.

The four-speaker audio system features AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA playback, and upgraded models include a USB-iPod connection and 5-inch display screen. The optional turn-by-turn navigation system makes arguing over directions a thing of the past, and top-end models feature voice recognition to control the navigation and audio systems.

Hands-free calling is made easy thanks to standard Bluetooth connectivity on all models. Hands-free text messaging assistant is available on upgraded vehicles.

Nissan designers built the 2017 Versa with safety at the top of their minds. The advanced airbag system includes front impact airbags, driver’s seat-mounted side-impact airbag and roof-mounted side curtain airbags for outboard occupant head protection, especially in a rollover crash.

Front disc and rear drum brakes feature antilock braking system with brake assist and electronic brake force distribution to stop the vehicle quickly.

Three-point seat belts are standard at all seating positions, and front seats have pretensioners and load limiters. The LATCH system is standard and ensures child seats can be safely secured in the vehicle.
