New Color, More Standard Tech for 2017 Juke

The 2017 Nissan Juke builds on the success of previous models by offering more standard technology to complement winning performance and advanced safety features. The new Black Pearl Edition adds bold styling to this mini sport utility vehicle.

Under the Hood

Nissan’s 2017 Juke is powered by a turbocharged and intercooled 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 188 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque.

The engine is mated with an Xtronic automatic transmission. The vehicle is available in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive setup increases handling and cornering performance, and it helps maintain traction on slick road surfaces by transferring power to wheels with the best grip on the road.

Comfort and Convenience

Seating in the 2017 Nissan Juke is designed to be comfort and practical. The six-way-adjustable driver’s seat and four-way-adjustable passenger seat are heated on upgraded models. A 60/40 split folding rear seat is standard on all models and allows for a variety of seating and cargo-carrying configurations.

A six-speaker audio system is standard on most models, and the top-of-the-line version is a Rockford Fosgate ecoPUNCH system with a powered subwoofer. All offer CD/WMA/MP3 playback capability and upgraded versions feature SiriusXM Satellite Radio connectivity.

The available NissanConnect infotainment system with navigation and mobile apps uses a 5.8-inch color touchscreen monitor as its display and control center. Intuitive voice commands control the system, and it syncs seamlessly with smartphones for hands-free voice calls, audio streaming and mobile app integration. The navigation system gives turn-by-turn directions to ensure drivers are on the most efficient route to their destinations.

In the event of a collision, occupants are protected by a set of airbags that includes dual-stage front airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags and roof-mounted side curtain airbags for rollover protection.

Active head restraints on front seats and three-point seat belts at all seating locations are standard, and the LATCH system allows child seats to be safely installed.

Vehicle dynamic control and traction control work to keep the 2017 Juke on the driver’s intended course, and the vehicle stops quickly thanks to four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist and electronic brake force distribution.
