V8 Comes Standard in 2018 Nissan Armada

The 2018 Nissan Armada builds on the success of the new design of 2017 with standard V8 power, advanced technology and impressive safety features that give drivers peace of mind.

Under the Hood

All 2018 Armadas come with a standard 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine that deliver 390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque while still achieving eye-catching fuel economy.

The engine is teamed with a 7-speed automatic transmission with smooth shifts and fuel-efficient gearing.

An advanced all-wheel-drive system is available and delivers superior cornering performance while giving an added layer of safety by enhancing traction on slick or loose driving surfaces.

Comfort and Convenience

NissanConnect Services is now standard in all 2018 Armadas and features an 8-inch multi-touch display. The infotainment system syncs seamlessly with smartphones for hands-free voice calls, audio streaming and mobile app integration. SiriusXM Travel Link and HD Radio are included, and hands-free text messaging is also a breeze thanks to enhanced voice recognition.

A turn-by-turn navigation system is standard and takes the stress out of driving to new places, and intuitive voice commands make using it easy and headache-free.

Other standard features that set the 2018 Nissan Armada apart include heated front seats and a 13-speaker Bose audio system that delivers near-theater quality sound.

Upgraded models feature Nissan’s intelligent rearview mirror, which projects a crystal-clear image from a rear-facing camera onto a screen overlaying the traditional mirror. A switch on the bottom of the mirror, however, lets drivers alternate between the video monitor and a standard mirror.

Safety

Nissan engineers kept safety at the top of their minds when building the 2018 Armada. A full set of airbags is standard and protects occupants from front, side and rollover crashes. Three-Point seat belts are standard at all seating locations, and the LATCH system ensures child seats are safely secured in the vehicle.

Antilock disc brakes stop the vehicle quickly, and the traction/stability control systems help keep iron the driver’s intended course.

Available safety features include forward collision warning, intelligent cruise control, intelligent distance control, automatic emergency braking, intelligent lane intervention, lane departure warning, blind spot warning and intelligent blind spot intervention.
