2017 Sentra Offers Sleek Looks, Economy

The 2017 Nissan Sentra comes with a sleek exterior look, a premium interior and a suite of advanced technologies. Its bold front fascia and grille complement its signature boomerang-shaped headlights.

Under the Hood

Nissan engineers equipped the 2017 Sentra with a 1.8-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine that delivers 124 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque. The engine can team with either the Xtronic automatic transmission or a six-speed manual setup.

Comfort and Convenience

Drivers of the 2017 Nissan Sentra have an impressive list of technologies at their fingertips. The NissanConnect system has a 5-inch color screen that helps control the vehicle’s features, including navigation system and audio system. Bluetooth technology controls the hands-free calling feature and a text-messaging assistant ensures drivers can keep their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road and still be connected. Smartphone integration allows use of mobile apps, audio streaming and other features.

Other comfort and convenience features include six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-way power lumbar support, heated front seats and HomeLink. RearView Monitor and Nissan Intelligent Key add to the vehicle’s ease of use.

Safety

Nissan’s advanced airbag system gives the 2017 Sentra dual-stage front airbags with seatbelt and occupant classification sensors, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags and roof-mounted side curtain airbags.

Many technologies are designed to prevent crashes altogether, such as blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, antilock disc brakes with brake assist and traction control.
